Farm happenings
Poor little Z had a rough night last night and wasn't feeling well this morning. So I told Tori and Evan they had to handle all the chores themselves. Evan stood there staring with no emotion, but Tori began the arguing and list of 43 excuses why it wasn't possible for them to do them.
I calmly and lovingly told her to suck it up and I didn't want to hear it. Also, that she is capable and fully able to handle this! So she grunted and went out with Evan, into the drizzling rain, and wind.
After getting out there for a bit, she came back in to double check what Bethel needed.
She was a different girl. I saw confidence and strength and zeal in her.
So to those who don't want to do the fight with their children when asking them to do stuff, ahem- I mean me... Always persevere my warrior parents! There is good that can come out of the arguing!
