Farm happenings
Is it gonna rain it not?!!?!? Dag nabbit! Do I water the darn garden or not. Seriously though, I'm just too lazy to want to get up and water the garden, but with the way it's looking here, I'm gonna have to get moving on it
Theodore made it through the day yesterday with the heat! I would go out and spray him down because he refused to get in the pool. So today, I'm determined to show him
the sparkling water is his friend. He has nothing to be afraid of, sweet boy!!
The chickens want to go outside! I go to open the coop door and they bum rush me! Oh I hope we can get their outdoor pen set up this weekend so I don't have to babysit anymore. Tiger the cute outdoor cat has been stalking them and they still aren't big enough to scare him off.
Yesterday when they were out, Ronald came strutting over, and when I say strutting, it's exactly what he does. Anyways, he came over to introduce himself again and they seemed to get along ok. I'm not comfortable with him having sleepovers in their coop yet though.
The inside of the house..... Looks pretty much the same as it has for the past week and a half. While the weather is nice, there is work to be done outside. On bad weather days I work on the house as I can but while the weather is nice, outdoor stuff, like chicken pens and pig pool houses need to be taken care of.
Blogging- I just don't think it's gonna happen. I can't justify the time and energy it would take to produce the entries. It came down to- do I want to spend over an hour looking at a screen, fiddling with jpg files, making it look prettier, OR do I want to type up a quick few words on my fb?
Quick few words
I cant do it. With the beautiful weather, the wide open spaces, the chores to be done, and day to be enjoyed, I just cannot bring myself to sit in front of the screen.
Fb farm updates are here to stay
As for visitors, I'm too the point of admitting we will never be truly "settled". You know, that word you use to let others know when they can come over. Implying your house will be in some kind of order and acceptable to their sight and judgements. Well...forget it. I'm not the greatest at extending invitations, and seriously our door is ALWAYS open. Please don't wait for me to extend an invite to you, just invite yourself over! Please, please! Come visit. And if you feel inclined to bring a housewarming gift, fly tape is always on our list of needs
