Farm happenings

I was desperate for rain for my garden!! No rain means more watering and I really dislike watering. Not as much as I dislike clay soil though. Argghh
Theodore the new black pig is doing well. He has a pool house in the other pen since it's so warm out. His favorite pastimes are eating and eating
The chicks are getting ginormous and doing great! They've been out in their mini pen for most the day and LOVE it. I'm hoping that Doug and I can work together this weekend and get the outdoor run all set up for them.
Ronald the rooster is still around. He had an adventure last night because he didn't come back to his pen as he usually has. But we found him strutting around this morning.
Our foster care journey has begun! We are doing applications this week and will start training in July. We are desperately in need of bunk beds, small dressers, toddler clothes and a toddler bed. If you have any of these items or know of anyone who does, please let us know
