Farm happenings
Bethel was due to go into heat yesterday and I wasn't sure of her signs so she went down to be "serviced" today. The girl is with 4 bulls!!! If this doesn't work I don't want to think about the next step.
The chickens are due to start laying in a week or so. With the colder weather already hitting us I hope we can get a couple before winter sets in.
Peace the calf is still doing well. Her leg is still draining from the abscesses but she's up and running on 3 legs, eating well and playing with Harmony.
